Management

Our subdivision is managed by Associa – Houston Community Management Services.  They are directed by the KirbyWoods Property Owners Association (KWPOA) Board of Directors (BOD).  Contact information is provided on the Contact page.

BOD

The BOD is made up of 3-7 KWPOA members elected to 2-year terms.  All homeowners are eligible and encouraged to participate.  The BOD consists of the following Director Positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Director At-large

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

The ACC is made up of at least 3 KWPOA members.  They are typically led by the Vice-President of KWPOA.  Their duty is to review each ACC application to ensure each request meets the requirements stated in our Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (DCCR)  The BOD has the ultimate authority over approval of every ACC request. 

Regular Meetings

Meetings are held monthly at the clubhouse.  The meeting notice is typically posted on a chalkboard at the entrance to the subdivision 72 hours prior to the meeting.  The monthly meetings follow an established agenda:

  • Quorum Verification
  • Visitor Registry
  • Approval of Agenda
  • Approval of Minutes
  • Financial report
  • Old Business / New Business

The annual meeting is scheduled to occur on the 3rd Wednesday in February of each year at the Taylor Lake Village City Hall.  Our management company is typically in attendance for this meeting.  The agenda for this meeting includes:

  • Year in Review
    • President’s Report
    • Treasurer’s Report
  • Budget Review
  • Director Election

The meetings held in May, August and November are quarterly meetings held at the clubhouse and typically attended by our management company.
